Interesting read on Earls life-long bread winning soundtrack contribution to the film "Bonnie and Clyde" the most powerful film of the summer of 1967 IMHO, the visual and emotional impact of the violence and the blood in the scene when Buck (gene hackman) was shot in the head made quite an impression on this ten year old.

Probably safe to say that Earls "Foggie Mountain Breakdown" had an influence on Eric Weissbergs "Dueling Banjos" soundtrack in the 1972 film, Deliverance.
